Has anyone noticed/worked out if there is any relationship between monsters and what they drop ?

It often seems related to the monster but I've not tried taking notes, I'm going to start now but I wondered if anyone else had done this already ?

(Or if anyone in the know could let us know Smile

Nothing concrete, no..there seems to be a selection that monsters will drop ranging from nothing to common, rare, very rare...or something along those lines.

Statues and stone creatures will generally drop unbeating hearts, but I've gotten torn flesh from a gargoyle. Fanged and Clawed creatures have fangs and claws...

So there's some predictability in it, or so it seems, but I haven't really considered charting who drops what.
