Hiya,

I don't think it will affect RedBrick's (original) plans for FS. It's business as usual for the foreseeable future. Though nothing will be happening with FS:SW development until after the release of the Fading Suns Revised GM's Guide (expected December), so it's some time away yet...

Glad to read that, when I was looking at the "Product Transition Update" topic on Redbrick's forum (LINK), I saw this and though FD SW was cancelled for good:
| Quote: | For your reference, here is a list of what products are moving across to FASA:
Earthdawn: First Edition, Second Edition, Pathfinder Edition, Savage Worlds Edition (Third Edition is superseded by FASA's Revised Edition)
Fading Suns: Nothing (FASA's Revised Edition replaced the previously announced Third Edition; HDI will continue to sell First and Second Edition books)
|
So you can confirm that there will eventually be a Savage World version of Fading Suns. At that point, do you know what version of FS it will be based on (2nd, or Revised ?). |

Revised is based on Second, as will FS:SW be.

While the Redbrick sites appear dead, it appears their stock went to FASA. I seem to recall some announcement on that from Redbrick some months back.

Though there appears to be no discussion on porting over FS to SW any time soon ... but, I might have missed it. Personally, I'm crossing my fingers for a Blue Planet conversion! _________________ *******

This was something more of a rebranding of RedBrick, not a change of company. _________________ Aperture Science:

Hi. As line developer for Blue Planet, I can tell you that there is indeed a Blue Planet Savage Worlds edition. However I do not have a date for release at this time. I can't say anything about Fading Suns since I'm not involved with that line.
Keep an eye on the FASA Games forums for announcements about upcoming products.

Hiya,
Appending this to the RedBrick thread (probably should open a new one, however it's associated).
Just a note that there are just 3 more days to go until the end of FASA Games' March Madness Earthdawn Sale. Link here:

This includes Savage Earthdawn!
