Cool! I wish I could get my hands on that poster (or had the capability and permission to print my own copy in high-resolution) as it would make a great player reference were I to get serious about running a pony scenario. _________________

I'm digging the idea of painting a War Hammer style cavalry army in pony colors, of course i had the same idea for my kids book about the rainbow valley ridding school, as the queen's unicorn guard has seven regiments each one dressed in a rainbow color
For a cheap war hammer style cavalry set look around for the games "Battle Master" or "Lion Heart" they both have cavalry styled like Games Workshop units _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |

Out of the bag pics of the dice.
Sadly, still no idea were one could get these...
But there must be multiple sets out there.
Looking closely at the pics, you can see that these are all different sets. _________________ "If you think I'm crazy, you should see the people I'm locked up with." - Steamdriven

A number of companies will run off custom dice for you. Small runs with odd designs tend to be pricier, but it's worthwhile to shop around.
If you want cutie-mark dice then you can make it happen. |

Pretty much! Wondering when it's finally gonna start, wondering if it only being 13 episodes is a good thing (they're all 2-parters for 26 actual episodes, or there's a movie in the works, etc.) or a bad thing (this brings it to 65 episodes which is needed for syndication, and this is the last season, etc.)
I never set out to make a whole Savage Setting for MLP. I just noticed that it looked like you could use the Race Creation rules to make the three pony types, so as an experiment I did so. That's really all this was ever meant to be, but it sort of took on a life of its own! _________________ 'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

I hope it picks up on October 6th.
Because with time zones and everything, I'd then get to watch it on October 7th, which is my birthday.
And I hope there will be more. More episodes, more seasons, more everything! I love this show. _________________ "If you think I'm crazy, you should see the people I'm locked up with." - Steamdriven

Har! I'd make a comment, but I suppose it would be a spoiler. Thanks for the link! (Pretty good matches for the voices, too!) _________________

Especially the singer. That's spot-on! I did a double-take when I heard it the first time. _________________ 'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.

I just recently caught a great show with a very similar tone to it. It's called "Jane and the Dragon" and I watched most of it on Youtube. Sadly, it ran only a single season of 26 episodes. It's about a girl named Jane who is trainging to become a knight, and her best friend- a dragon. It's decent quality CGI, with fantastic motion-capture done by Weta Workshop (of LOTR fame). The stories are fun and there is an interesting back story that gets hinted at. It makes me want to read the books it's based on.
I'm a single dude in my 30s, so I don't get up early on Saturday to watch cartoons. Maybe some of you have already seen it. If you haven't, I highly recommend it. |

I found this while looking at Fallout videos:

Now who among us Savage gamers 'wouldn't' want to play this?
