Well that's settled then.
After weeks of wondering what to run at DragonMeet 2012 (in the UK) now I know.
I have the hassle-free minis ordered and the Armorcast van en-route, now all I need to do is paint them up and find some tokens for the bad guys. _________________ <nothing to read here move along> |

Cool! You could always make them fight a Chthonian!

I saw that Reaper Miniatures was selling a Purple Worm in their "Bones" Line that looked like a Chthonian but it needed some tentacles. So I used my Google-Fu and found this site on how to make tentacles.

With that tutorial and some drilling, here's what I came up with. It was surprisingly easy!
I also want to give a shout out to Reality Blurs. I got the stats from their Realms of Cthulhu. Great book by the way!

Best part...its on $2.99!!!!
A Chthonian as pictured in Realms of Cthulhu from Reality Blurs. Savage Worlds + Cthulhu...nice! http://realityblurs.com/wordpress/?page_id=911 |

I have nothing to contribute aside from: this is one of the most awesome threads ever.
Well, one thing: since Shaggy and Scooby are regularly put in disguises as bait, maybe they should have a Disguise skill? (Note: I'm *really* new to Savage Worlds and have no idea if there even *is* such a skill, or if there's a better mechanic for this behavior.) |

Usually, disguise is handled by the Stealth skill, or maybe Persuasion if it's mostly a matter of attitudes. _________________ "Got a problem? I've got the solution: Rocket Launcher."

I am going to be running this scenario this weekend for my sons.
I'm almost finished painting Scooby and the gang... drybrushing & giving them that protective finish.
Some modifications:
The Tomato & Cucumber are being replaced with Billy's imaginary friend.
Since I don't have a Tentacle Thing miniature I'm thinking about using a Mi-Go miniature because... 1) It's from the Cthulhu mythos & 2) It has the bat-like wings. For those of you that have Realms of Cthulhu, do you think a Mi-Go soldier would be tough enough for Scooby and the gang?
Here's a pic..
From left to right: Billy's Imaginary Friend, Old Man Smithers, Mi-Go.
Smithers is going to be painted up by tomorrow night. _________________
