Stephens City, Virginia, at the Northern End of the Shennandoah Valley. The historical marker there states that our historical signifcance is that the town WASN'T burned down by the Yankees during the War of Northern Aggression.

I was born in Huntington, WV, raised in Chesapeake, OH until I was 10, then lived in Clintwood, VA for another 10 years, and finally Blacksburg, VA for the next 20. After that Los Gatos (south of San Jose), CA, and now I dwell in the desert of Arizona (and I love it). Smile
