Stephens City, Virginia, at the Northern End of the Shennandoah Valley. The historical marker there states that our historical signifcance is that the town WASN'T burned down by the Yankees during the War of Northern Aggression. _________________ David Sumpter

I second that statement. Another Orygun resident here.

I am from my mother originally.
I was born in Renton, WA {at the tender age of... zero}. Forced to move {much against my will at the tender age of three} to Bakersfield, CA.
Lived in this desert town for the past 37 years... It's where I call home! _________________ Proud co-creator of the 1,000+ Random Encounter Generator found here! |

Yeah, we still do of sorts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_overseas_territories)
A few rocks and some sheep in far off places (come to think of it, that could be a description of the Shetland islands )
Someone will come across a lump of rock in the Atlantic, one day, and a grizzled old man in a red uniform will charge at them with his bayonet, shouting "I don't believe you, the empires not over!"
Cheers

I was born here in Sacramento, the capital of California (which is a sad statement of how things are here). After having moved much of the width and breadth of the USA (as far south as Riverside, California and as far east as Springfield, Massachuesetts), I seem to have become stuck in Sacramento again. Wheeee...

Ewww. I'm sorry... Bakersfield is even flatter and potentially less exciting than Sacramento. Hmmm... Which is about like compairing a leek to a radish, I suppose.

Poland, land of Xero Bro
I was born in Wroclaw, then I lived in a small village near Legnica (home of the biggest Soviet garrison) and then, after school, I`ve moved to Wroclaw, where I will stay. _________________ Piotr "Ramel" Korys

Wow. An amazing array of folks.
I was born in Huntington, WV, raised in Chesapeake, OH until I was 10, then lived in Clintwood, VA for another 10 years, and finally Blacksburg, VA for the next 20. After that Los Gatos (south of San Jose), CA, and now I dwell in the desert of Arizona (and I love it).
Simon is in Sheffield, btw.
