I've been on the road all day. Did I miss something? Is there no update for the website today? _________________ - Brent 'thwaak' Wolke

It's getting awfully close, at least in my time zone... (EDIT: which is an hour later than the forum seems to think) _________________ "Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science!" - Agatha Heterodyne

It occurs to me that Shane could have been knocked off line with the computer virus running rampant right now. _________________ - Brent 'thwaak' Wolke

Which is -exactly- why I'm checking the forums here at home tonight. It's been a rough day on the machines out there.
I big thank you to all the IT techs out there.

Woah...even our craptacular network here at work survived the latest virus. But we did get whacked pretty hard with that NIMDA thing a while back...a whole week of no internet at work! _________________ Hell, I'll kill a man in a fair fight or if I think he's gonna start a fair fight or if he bothers me or if there's a woman or if I'm gettin paid. I sort of got hit with Worm Blaster. I was getting RPC errors cause of the firewall. I set the service to Take No Action and eventually fixed the problem. Its not a lethal virus "as-is" but sure was a PITA in the morning. _________________ I'm not an adversarial GM. I am a facilitator of awesomeness. - Dr Rotwang |

Also keep in mind Shane has been known to miss a Tuesday update now and then.
Of course, he usually makes it up to us around Friday was something cool so I have faith. _________________ I'm not an adversarial GM. I am a facilitator of awesomeness. - Dr Rotwang |

| We got hit with the blaster worm but we had the presence of mind to block the port it uses ahead of time so we just had to deal with the computers rebooting which wasn't too bad since the company is still archaic enough to still be using win98 on 75% of the computers on an NT4 network. Eitherway I was looking forward to the update because the Lost Colony Companion was supposed to be available. |

Shane has been VERY quiet since a little before the forums went down. He must be hard at work on something cool. Reloaded, perhaps? It's not due for months, but maybe he wants an early start.
Still, I was expecting at least a "Hey the cards are in!" update, but maybe the cards have been delayed again. _________________ "Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science!" - Agatha Heterodyne

What? Are you filling in for Shane with your own cryptic posts?
Stop that!

It's all so clear to me now. I'm the keeper of the cheese and you're the lemon merchant... and he knows it.

EDIT: I am changing the list as they are solved...
EDIT #2: Does not include the various Reloads.
EDIT #3: Does not include anything already published (Evernight for example)
EDIT #4: One of these turned out to be pure rumor, so it was removed.
YOINK! This thread has been hi-jacked. It's so far off topic anyway, why not start some fun driving people crazy with cryptic clues and such not.
I know of 17 Savage Settings which will be there own books. Here are the cryptic clues...everyone try to guess (Authors not allowed to play, nor their family members or immediate friends) what they are!
Still waiting to be solved!
7) "I must break you!"
Solved!
1) Argh Matey! - 50 Fathoms
2) "There's a bad moon on the rise!" - Blood Moon
3) It's more than a computer virus... - Demongate
4) Life styles of the rich and daring - Fortune & Glory
5) "Did you ever know you're my heroooooo!" - Necessary Evil
8 ) Jumpin Jack Slash - Rippers
9) Once upon a time... - Scairy Tales
10) Don't fall in the water - Slipstream
11) But words will never hurt me. - Sticks & Stones
12) Chicken little was right. - Sundered Skies
13) Mike Tyson joins Luke Skywalker - WW: The Boxer Rebellion
14) If it's tuesday, it must be Jerusalem. - WW: The Crusades
15) What's in a name? - WW: The 'Nam - Tour of Darkness
16) Can't we all just get along? - WW: Blood Fued - The Uncivil War
17) It doesn't star Mel Gibson or Daniel Day Lewis - WW: Wilderness Wars
Stricken from list
6) It ain't about World War I - I had heard there was going to be a game called tenativly 'Kaiser' a Weird Wars set during the prussian wars. Napoleanic battles and such. Not true. My bad. _________________ - Brent 'thwaak' Wolke
