I recall seeing a rule set for making the Arcane Background associated with Spirits instead of straight to Powers. Each spirit would be defined as to what it could do etc. I've since forgotten where I ran across that system, can someone point me in the right direction?

That system is in a Shark Byte (maybe 2nd or 3rd), and I use it a lot in my campaign, 'cause I have a "shamanic girl" like character.
She call the spirit, and I roll the "spellcasting" roll of the spirit: the spirits are not Wild Card, so no extra d6, but they stay "on" for a while, so she hasn't to call them every turn. They stay and "keep casting" if she want this way.
