Also include a Plot Point campaign for Fading Suns! That would be off the chain! |
+1 for this suggestion - kind of like what was done with Red Sands, but for Fading Suns and ED - so would own both of those and run them when I could! |

Another vote for Savage Fading Suns, but I'd also like to throw in a vote for a Savage Blue Planet!
SW needs a hard scifi setting. _________________ Be Aggressive,

+1 for Savage Fading Suns. Consider it pre-ordered.

| An official conversion of Earthdawn? Are you kidding! My favorite setting combined with my favorite system. I can't wait! (And a Savage Fading Suns would be equally as awesome!) |

I predict that if there's an official Savage Fading Suns, my players will be rioting if I don't resurrect/reboot my Fading Suns campaign (which lasted 7 years).
In other words: ohboyohboyohboy. |

I never got into Fading Suns, and it seemed like a lot of Earthdawn's flavor was tied to some of its mechanics, but I'd still definitely check 'em out.
But Savage Blue Planet? As Igor says, it MUST BE MINE! _________________ --

| I'v been a huge fan of ED since before the fall of rome.. (the closing of FASA). it would please me to no end to be able to run all my classic stuff in a SW engine. as it stands i'm currently reading "Terror In the Skies", Written by one Shane Hensley.. maybe you've heard of him :-p |

I only looked into Fading Suns after having read this forum topic... and what can I say, I'm in love.
I hope we'll be seeing a savage version! My fiancee would be annoyed if I suddenly started pouring all my time into another conversion. |

| Fading suns and earthdawn will be savaged, annunaki commented on a rpg.net. Epinox will not, cannot remember if blue planet was mentioned though. |

| As far as I can tell the savage worlds games will be: no. 1-Demonworld 2- earthdawn 3- Fading suns/Blue planet. All games will have a players guide and a dms guide. Great news savages.. |

Have they stated any kind of time line? Where these in "the works" WELL before the announcement or are we talking years?
Will the Demonworld be an actual RPG or a Showdown rules mini game? I still own the Empire and Demonworld miniatures / boardgames. Great fun Empire was.

| Just looked at the sight and I have to say, I am very interested in whatever you decide to do as far as Savage Worlds go. I have the old promotional stuff for Earthdawn but never played. I was tempted by Fading Suns but never bit. Color my interests as piqued. |

Timeline yup!!! As demonworld does not have a rpg attatched, they will get savaged first. Earthdawn have been out for 2 years and will be savaged next. Fading suns have yet to be released( curse filled muttering ) and will be savaged later. They will off course support their own systems first (step system and victory point system) but the plan is to release core games to other systems, as pr. demand. Appearently savages are very demanding:-) Do not think they have much written, but it was mentioned that they are planning to pick up speed. |

Hiya,
Some answers to questions.
1) Timeline. No, we didn't have these under consideration until now (other than planning to make most of our game setting available for play in other systems over time). Savage Worlds came up sooner due to an opportunity to have a direct conversation with Pinnacle -- and the fact that they are such nice and professional people.
2) There is no set order of release. Demonworld is noted as we are working on the next edition of the miniatures rules and it does not have an associated roleplaying game with it (and we wanted a miniatures-friendly system to go with the extensive miniatures line). Earthdawn is high on the list because our core game line has been out for a while now.
Hope this helps!
Kind regards,
James Sutton
