I'm always getting inspiration from the Lead Adventure Forum.

Although they are, for the most part, strictly lead-pushers (miniature rule players) they have some of the most incredible gaming tables, scenery, and miniatures that are awe inspiring.

Imagine playing a War of the Dead session like THIS.

You'd have players loving it!!

I LOVE this ZOMBIE with the walker. It was made from a paperclip.

Some thoughts there...

My first thought was that those look awfully close to HO Scale for model railroads....which is 1:87th scale.

My second thought was "Hey, my Dad's a model railroader."

My third thought was Zombie Invasion on the Devner and Rio Grande narrow gauge...all properly modeled, engines, cars, buildings, and towns all modeled for what would effectively be a Deadlands game....

Actually, the O/S Scales of Model Railroad stuff work quite nicely with 28-35mm minis. There is a Model RR store near my house. Too bad everything is so damn expensive (40-75 dollars per building)

And those buildings are usually for looking, not so much for touching....

--- Most of the K LINE and PLASTICVILLE buildings I have used are quite sturdy.

Remember!! Only choose the O or S scale!

I've used them for small buildings of small towns. For bigger city buildings I go with the ones you print out. I just glue those on some foamcore for more stability.

Some do look like Plasticville but most of the setup appears to be paper; Twilight Street by Microtactix or even World Works.
These guys are also notorious for whipping something up from scratch just off the top of their heads. It's really a marvelous site, and a wonderful community.

I have buildings from both Microtactix and World Works. They can be made very sturdy and durable if you glue them to some foamcore.

A friend of mine on the Lead Adventure Forum, Commander Vyper, went that route for his urban terrain with some amazing RESULTS.

I'm going to do the same once I have room to store the building. #1eek13
