My Gencon game this year had a theme of Zombies/Cthulhu and wanted to put in a Chthonian for the "Big Bad" at the end that the players had to fight but I couldn't find a mini to match that was affordable. I saw that Reaper Miniatures was selling a Purple Worm in their "Bones" Line that looked like a Chthonian but it needed some tentacles. So I used my Google-Fu and found this site on how to make tentacles.

With that tutorial and some drilling, here's what I came up with. It was surprisingly easy!
I also want to give a shout out to Reality Blurs. I got the stats from their Realms of Cthulhu. Great book by the way!

Thanks. It was surprisingly easy to make those tentacles. Drilling into the Reaper 'Bones' figures was really simple too. _________________ -DHRDawg

| Awesome, that was the first thing I thought when I saw that mini, I am glad to know it is possible and seems relatively cheap. |

Oh I thought you said Cinnamon Miniature my bad.
Good job now we just need a miniature of Cinnamon Basil attacking it with a leap maneuver and two butcher knives _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |

Is that a Wargames plastic zombie in those pictures, DHRDawg? If so it is very well painted.
Another sweet thing about this method of making those tentacles is the excess wire at the base makes for an excellent pinning wire.
That article and your ideas are going to be used in an upcoming 50 Fathoms game. _________________
