Since Hell on Earth no longer has a Legend chip, does the fate chip earned from the Tale Teller edge remain between sessions until it is used? I don't know about other groups, but normally the time for tell telling with my group comes towards the end of the session, making that extra fate chip pretty lackluster if it can't be saved.

It does not remain between sessions, but if the roll is at the end of a session, then it's likely the Fear Level won't actually lower until the beginning of the next session. It likely takes a bit of time for word (and hope) to spread.

After all, it's not a Benny for just telling the tale but for the eventual effect of lowering the Fear Level. So if the roll comes up at the end of a session, it's easy to have the effect rollover to the beginning of the next one.
