|
My players wanted it, but there was no way this man was going back to those mechanics so ... Savage Worlds time. I took what they wanted for starting characters and I read board posts, read other conversions and jacked from other Savage Supplements.
So I'm going to post things on a irregular schedule, as I finish them I'll throw them up and maybe with some comments I can polish them up for my game. _________________ In God we trust

A few arcane backgrounds. This seemed to be the best way to work the OCC/RCC thing into Savage Worlds. I'm using the Necessary Evil book heavily to convert things.
Edge: Arcane Background [Cyborg, Partial Conversion]
Requirements: Spirit d6, Vigor d6
Power Points: 10
Starting Powers: 1
Damaged: When a PC is reduced to incapacitated, there is a 50/50 chance that damage is suffered to his cybernetics. If damaged they are unusable repaired by someone with appropriate Repair and Science skills
Available Powers: Altered Form, Aquatic, Armor, Attack, Melee, Attack, Ranged, Awareness, Broadcast, Darkvision, Extra Limbs, Fear (appearance based), Fearless, Gifted (skill programs), Heightened Senses, Immunity, Interface, Leaping, Parry, Speak Language (software), Speed, Super Attribute, Super Edge, Super Skill, Toughness, Wall Walker
Special Rules: Cannot take any other Arcane Background.
Edge: Arcane Background [Cyborg, Full Conversion]
Requirements: Spirit d10, Vigor d6

Edge: Arcane Background [Juicer]
Requirements: Agility d6, Vigor d10
Power Points: 10
Starting Powers: 2
Available Powers: Awareness, Extra Actions, Heightened Senses, Leaping, Parry, Regeneration, Speed [Max 2 Pt.], Super Attribute[AGI, STR, and VIG only, Super Edge, Super Skill, Toughness
Special Rules: Due to the effects of the ridiculous amount of drugs running through the Juicer’s nervous system they die within 5 years +4d6 months. Cannot take any other Arcane Backgrounds.

Edge: Arcane Background [Mind Melter]
Requirements: Novice, Psionics d6+, Smarts d8+
Arcane Skill: Psionics [Smarts]

Starting Powers: 3
Backlash: When a Mind Melter rolls a 1 on his Psionics die, he suffers severe brainburn that causes him to be immediately Shaken. On a critical failure, the Mind Melter lets out a power discharge that causes him to be Shaken along with all allies in a Large Burst Template who fail their Spirit roll. This can cause a Wound.

Things that require mega damage to be hurt have Heavy Armor. Things that deal mega damage are Heavy Weapons. Problem solved. _________________ Wild Card Creator: Any PDF. Any Setting. No Extra Cost.

Nope. I could go the HA/HW route but I'm not going to bother, almost every suit if armour would be HA and most weapons would be HW. I don't think I need that part of the system. I'm going to use HA/HW the usual way in Savage Worlds. _________________ In God we trust

That was to give my players a little guidance about what to take for powers. Especially for the Cyber-Knight. _________________ In God we trust

When everyone is done laughing at you, you can just use the normal character creation rules. Remember to take all your hinderances and no edges...

Poverty, -20 XP, and when you finally get to the point where you can use your AB, it will just be super-attributes, super-skills, and super-edges. _________________ "Got a problem? I've got the solution: Rocket Launcher."

| Occasionally our group talks about writing up "Portals" it's a dystopian world where portals to other worlds have opened up. Instead of the COalition we just have Nazis who were transplanted from a world where Germany won WWII. |

And there are Knights on Zebras living in a steel cargo ship (the Sulphur Queen -) in the middle of a jungle hunting dragons (Trex) with a lance _________________ http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h51/Vondan/ |

That's not reason and logic that we're trying to paint onto Rifts, is it? _________________ In God we trust
