Sorry if I've duplicated a question, my searches came up blank...

I would like to know how much cargo/freight a vehicle can carry. The books show how many passengers they can accommodate, but not how much goods (i.e. tons, lbs).

For some vehicles there's a quick-and-dirty conversion of 1 passenger -> 1 ton, but it doesn't apply to all cases (e.g. knife boat).

Is there something I'm missing, or is it something I need to invent?
