If you are familiar with RPGNow, they are doing their "find the pumpkin" contest on their website. One such Pumpkin gives you a free PDF of Rippers classic.
To find it, well first you need an account and sign in.
Then look for Pumpkins on certain pages like at the very very bottom or to the side or what not.
So to find the free copy of Rippers you first go to the home page of RPGNow.com.
Then in the search box you type
....what...wait, oh my god its...

Well poo! I have looked, found just about everything free on the site, and Rippers is just not one I can find.

You can remove them from your cart if you don't want them. I did that several times before I finally found Rippers.

I found it and going back i see how your clues fit with an idea that came to me and I see what the pattern is
there are only two products (Today) WOD is the common and Rippers is the rare but I think in the next 7 days other things with a horror theme will swap out the rare
Of course you know that now i'll just use it to roll up all the PC in my Victorian setting i thought up in 1997 and then Allan Moor stole the idea and put men on the team

Here are the 7 Pumpkins I found, some are "tricks" - links to outside areas, others are treats.
All require an account and for you to sign in.
Rippers & WoD - On the home page, in the search box type halloween. Scroll to the bottom. There are 2 Pumpkins down there. The one at the very very bottom is Rippers, the one at the bottom of the search is WoD
Little Fears - At the bottom of the home page, under the Information Heading, is Product Reviews, there is a pumpkin at the top of the page.
Pathfinder Adventure - At the top of the Home Page Click on "My Library" at the top is a pumpkin.
From the Home Page, under the Help Section at the bottom of the page, click Common Question - this gets you a NWO Convention guide.
A "trick" pumpkin can be found under the "Top 100 Items" hyperlink on the right hand side of the home page.
The last pumpkin was the hardest to find. Click on your Account at the top of the home page, then click on the link for "Select How I wish to be contacted by Publishers" This gets you the Unspeakable Oath 21.
Fortunately the folks who code these links use the same navigations for all their websites (Wargame Vault, Drive Thru Comics, DriveThru Fiction).
BUT it is important to completely check out of one before switching to another to get the loot. Because I discovered it lost the "free flag" as I jumped around. |

I guess that my problem is that I am only seeing one pumpkin. It is below the list of search items and above the advertisement and information bar on the bottom. I tried it in Firefox and IE, both give the same results. I guess I am not supposed to get Rippers.

I found that if you click on the pumpkin on the home page (the one it tells you not to click on... ) it takes you to the Search page with the Rippers pumpkin. It's all the way at the bottom in the far right corner.

Wow lots of time on our hands I should be working!!
I found that every search had the pumpkin for the WOD at the bottom of the page. A search for Halloween adds another few inches of web page and another pumpkin below the WOD pumpkin
the pumpkin that says not to touch is coded to do a search for Halloween

I got it to work with Chrome, as described.
Same for Firefox. The thing is the Ripper Pumpkin is beneath the Blue Bar that has the Help, Account, and Information.
If you have your browser zoomed (to help with reading) you might need to zoom out to see it (Control + the Mouse Wheel).
