I received the Aces & Eights CD in the mail today. Yay!
However, when I went to play it on my CD player, it sounded all scratchy. Then I put in in the computer and realized it was just a bunch of .mp3 files burned onto a disc!
Is there going to be another version just for CD players? Should I return it?

Its just MP3 files?? Thats kinda lame. If you don't have a computer near your game you have to re-burn the disc in an audio (.wav) format. Should have just sold it as a download on RPGNOW. Smile

Hi Folks,

I come to you with an interesting issue.

Firstly the good news

Aces & Eights is released, Everyone on deadlands UK has their name on the
inside front cover and the cd looks great.

The bad news (Still order you copies the problem is being rectified s
we speak)

The Cd reproduction was errored and the reproduction company burned
the music in mp3 format.....this is being redone

After recieving my copies this morning I realize that the comapny are
burning from the wrong master CD so not only are the tracks in mp3
format but they are not the finnished versions. If you have heard the released mp3 format disk the actual audio verion is much better

I emplore all of you who want a copy to order from the website so
that shane has some leverage to get these things sorted, if he can say
he is loosing money then the company are more likely to hurry up with
our product...

All that being said though, the music is still grand, the cover is
great , everyone involved did a great job and I couldn't have done it
without eachj and eery one of ya.

go forth and order whilst I try and glue my hair back on my head.

I don't think Shane needs any leverage at all. The company screwed up so they should fix the problem. I'm sure they were paid...they need to handle their business. I for one will not order it until I know the problem is resolved. I don't want to pay and wait indefinitely for a product.

I didn't do it alone... Zeke Sparkes & Shane both are the point men there in the states, heads roll on their orders.

Something to do with the formating of english Cd's over to US...... But problem solved......

Hi all--yes, the CDs are messed up. YOu can still order them--we're just not shipping anymore until the new batch arrives.

And of course we're shipping out replacements to those who already ordered.
