Howdy High Plains Drifters,

We finally have a solid post-holiday update from our printer: Hell on the High Plains is being bound and boxed! This is still within our window for May shipping, so we’re still on track from our last update.

As a reminder, all the digital versions of rewards are available to you now. Find them in your Downloads on PEGINC.COM and your DriveThruRPG.COM account as well.

Now is the time to shoot us an email at [email protected] if you need to update your address for shipping or have any issues accessing your files.

New and Updated, ready for download and action at your tables!

Thanks to your feedback, we have an updated release of the Hell on the High Plains book for you to download.  We also have two new releases, the Deadlands the Weird West Archetypes Set 4 PDF and Deadlands the Weird West Pawns 2 (Figure Flats) PDF.

We’ve removed the alpha playtest document to avoid confusion on the current version.

If this is your first Pinnacle product, welcome to the community! If you’re a veteran, stick around and find out how we’re updating the delivery of your rewards.

We’ll outline the basic process plus some reminders first. If you run into any issues, please read the Troubleshooting section at the end before contacting our excellent support team at [email protected].

1. Log into your account at peginc.com:

•  New Customer: An account now exists at peginc.com using the email address this file was sent to, typically your Kickstarter email. Enter your email on this form to have a password generated and begin using your new account.
•  Returning Customer: Visit the My Account link at peginc.com. You’ll see your account dashboard if you’re still logged in, or the prompt to log in.  Please remember if your PEG store account email does not match your crowdfunding account email address you’ll need to email our customer service at [email protected] before you move forward with checkout, so they can switch your coupon over to the correct login.

2. You need to complete the check out process at peginc.com to receive your digital and physical rewards.

This is how we acquire your current address for delivery of physical products and grant download permissions for digital goods.

•  Returning Customers: check your cart first!  During this next step your rewards are added to your cart immediately and anything previously added to the cart won’t ship until everything is ready. We don’t “split ship.”  Also please note VTT access codes for services like FoundryVTT, FantasyGrounds, or Roll20 will not be sent if combined with a campaign order, so check out for those separately (unless they are preorders for a campaign product).

3. Logged In? Let’s Go! Visit the Coupons link on the left of your My Account Dashboard.

You should see a Store Credit coupon outlined in red matching your pledge amount. Click on your coupon. This adds your reward items to your cart automatically and applies a store credit matching your pledge.

4. Visit your shopping cart to make sure everything is in place.

You can click “View Cart” or the cart symbol at top right of the screen. You should see your reward level and store credit applied.

If you pledged for Add Ons during the campaign these items should also appear in your cart. Some users with Add Ons will have additional coupons to click on to add all of your Add Ons to your cart.

If your Store Credit or your Rewards are not correctly showing in your cart, please contact [email protected] before completing checkout.

5. This is the BEST time to upgrade your reward level or add additional products!

…but you will also have the chance later. See below for how to add to/upgrade later.

•  Upgrade Your Reward Level:  Leaving the current items in your cart, go to the GameChanger page and choose the campaign, then select the higher reward level from the option on the right side of the page. When you return to your cart, remove the lower reward level (or you can purchase both!). It’s important that you keep one of the reward levels in your cart at all times because fewer errors happen this way.
•  Add Additional Products to Your Order: You are welcome to add any items from the campaign or from anywhere on our site to your order at this time, especially if you pledged additional money for Add Ons. These items will ship when your rewards are ready and using the special shipping rate. If these items surpass your pledge credit, additional funds will be collected at check out.

6. Cart Timeouts and Keeping your Campaign Benefits

WARNING: Your cart only holds items for 48 hours. If you do not complete your order within 48 hours, you will need to contact [email protected] for assistance.

Please make certain that you have at least one campaign reward level still in your cart when you check out.  This keeps the special coding required to designate your order as a crowdfunded order, and entitles you to special privileges like reduced shipping rates. If you remove it accidentally you may need help from us to fix it. Contact [email protected] for assistance.

7. Proceed to Check Out.

When you proceed to check out from your cart, you should see a discounted shipping option if you pledged for a physical reward level. Complete the address information, and payment if necessary.

Your order will now show up in your account with a “Crowdsource Hold” designation. This will change status once your rewards begin shipping from our warehouse.

8. Download!

Digital rewards will show up in your Downloads tab once your order has completed the process. This may take up to 24 hours, and items for the current campaign might have placeholders until those files are ready.

When we make an announcement about a new file (update on the crowdfunding platform, email, newsletter, social media…we try to get the word out!), log into your account, and navigate to the Downloads tab.

9. Upgrade your order again and again.

You can upgrade your order almost until right before it ships! It’s easy to tell if you can still Add to/Upgrade your order–it has the “Upgrade Order” option next to the list of orders on your account.

1. Log in to peginc.com.

2. Visit the Orders tab of your account.

3. Find the correct Crowdsource Hold order you’d like to upgrade (Use the View option first to make sure it’s the right one)

4. Click Upgrade Order

It’s important to note that when you click Upgrade Order, your previous order is effectively “canceled,” downloads revoked, and store credit applied to your next purchase.

The reward level items are removed from your cart and you will only see the Title of the Reward Level. (This is intentional).

It’s important that you keep the Reward Level title item in your cart while you navigate the site to add to your order. You can add anything from our store and take advantage of reduced shipping!

If you want to upgrade to a higher Reward Level, add the next level to your cart, then remove the first reward level.

Add additional items to your cart from anywhere in the store. Check out our Settings page for the great variety available to play!

Your downloads will reappear after 24 hours. Please remember to complete check out or your downloads won’t appear!

Troubleshooting Tips

Digital Only Rewards

Due to international regulations we must have a physical address for your order, even if you’re only getting digital content. You should not see any shipping options at checkout. If you do, please check the items you selected and see if a physical variety was chosen. If you’re still having trouble, contact us at [email protected].

Virtual Tabletop (VTT) License Keys

We recommend you place an order for any of our fantastic virtual tabletop partner products (Fantasy Grounds, FoundryVTT, or Roll20) separately on our site unless they are preorders associated with your campaign rewards. “Crowdsource Hold” is the status for all crowdfunded orders because the order doesn’t go to our warehouse until everything is ready to ship. This also means virtual tabletop license keys are not generated! To get your license key quickly, simply place two orders: one for your crowdfunded items and one for the VTT.

Multiple Email Accounts

When importing pledge information from another platform such as Kickstarter, the email address is the most important link between platforms. For this reason, we recommend you make sure your crowdfunding email addresses match (and switch up the password instead). If you want to keep your emails separate, we understand. Just contact [email protected] with both email addresses prior to attempting to access your rewards.
