Convention News: GAMA 2024, Mythic Con West 2024 & Coast Con 46
There’s no denying that convention season has officially begun with numerous gaming conventions taking place around the map, many featuring guests from Pinnacle!
This past weekend, Shane Hensley was the “Gaming Guest of Honor” at Coast Con 46, “Mississippi’s longest-running Sci-Fi, fantasy, and gaming convention!” While there, Shane ran three thrilling sessions of our upcoming Savage Saturday Cinema/Deadlands crossover adventure, Thunder on the Mountain.
At precisely the same time, about 600 miles northeast, Clint and Jodi Black gathered once again to attend Mythic Con West in Asheville, North Carolina. The two of them ran eight demos of our Doom Guard board game while over two dozen scheduled Savage Worlds games hit the tables. Additionally, the annual Savage Saturday Night event featured a variety of Savage Worlds games ranging from Deadlands to the Last Parsec and from Fallout and Star Frontiers to Low Life, Gravenstein Academy, and Drowned War.
All this week (March 3rd through 7th), members of the Game Manufacturers Association are gathered in Louisville, Kentucky for the premier professional tradeshow, GAMA Expo!
This event features four days of seminars, panel discussions, product reviews, and demos of new products, while providing a welcoming environment to network with a multitude of professionals in the tabletop gaming industry.
Attendees will definitely want to track down the Pinnacle Entertainment Group booth (booth 387) where they can meet up with Simon Lucas and Chris Landauer and check out all the goodies on display including the Legend of Ghost Mountain dragon mini and Boxed Set, the Origins Award-winning Pathfinder® for Savage Worlds, Savage Rifts® with pawn sets, All the Deadlands releases with map packs, the Limited Edition Holler leatherette, and much more!
Watch this space for news of additional convention appearances from the folks here at Pinnacle Entertainment Group!
