Gen Con 2024 Savage Worlds Wrap-Up

Published On: August 6, 2024Categories: Events, News, Pinebox Middle School

If you were able to attend this year’s Gen Con, then you already know what a fast, furious, fun, and record-breaking time it was for fans of Savage Worlds!

With over 71,000 attendees, this year’s SOLD OUT show truly was one for the record books.

Not only were there several Savage Worlds events on the schedule, the Pinebox Middle School Box Set was nominated for an ENNIE Award in the Best Family Game category, an amazing group of players livestreamed a session of the same game on the GenConTV Twitch channel (check it out here), several friends of Savage Worlds sat in on our “What’s Up with Pinnacle” Saturday seminar, and various Pinnacle peeps slipped behind their GM screens to run dozens of demos of the upcoming Deadlands: Dark Ages.

As always, the sprawling, centrally-located Studio 2 Publishing area was where you could find any and all Savage Worlds goodies during the show, Jodi and Clint Black’s Carolina Game Tables introduced attendees to their new Deluxe Dragon Chair, and a few of our licensees and publishing partners (including Paizo and Palladium Books) were also on-hand.

Here are a few photos of what everyone got up to this year and we hope to see you all in Indianapolis in 2025!
