Last year’s mid-pandemic KublaCon was a much lighter, far more intimate version of its pre-pandemic self. This past weekend, with updated CDC guidelines and vaccination requirements in-place, KublaCon returned to form, boasting incredibly impressive attendance figures!
Held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, California, KublaCon is the West Coast’s largest gaming convention, with over 96 hours of non-stop gaming.
This year marked the return of Savage Saturday Night to KublaCon with packed tables playing everything from Deadlands Noir to Pinebox Middle School GMed by of one of its creators, Scott Woodard (Flash Gordon™, The Sixth Gun). KublaCon gave this terrific event its very own space in the poolside pavilion and gifted all attendees custom Bennies and absolutely gorgeous, 20th anniversary Savage Worlds Challenge Coins!
Other Savage Worlds games graced the schedule as well ensuring fans had plenty of “Fast, Furious, and Fun” adventures over all four fantastic days.
Savage Saturday Night will return to KublaCon next year, bigger and better than ever, so start making plans to visit the Golden State in 2024!
