Bloodshadows: Chronicles of Guf is set in the world of Marl against a backdrop of war between forces of Order and Chaos, combining elements of fantasy and horror, and viewing them through a Noir lens.

In Bloodshadows, a mobster’s Tommy gun might sling ensorcelled bullets, fending off a blood cult trying to muscle in on his turf. Or a hard-boiled detective could stalk the shadows of dark alleys, smoking out the Succubus blackmailing the mayor’s only son. Life inside the great walled cities resembles nothing so much as the mean streets of ’40s noir with a fantastic twist; outside the walls, terrible beasts of myth and legend grow awful and powerful with age.

This Kickstarter campaign seeks to bring the world of Bloodshadows to life with two new books:

• Bloodshadows: Chronicles of Guf Core Rulebook with new Edges, Hindrances, Arcane Backgrounds, Powers, Races, and Setting Rules.
• Antagonists and Abominations, a 100+ page bestiary of mundane and fantastic threats for heroes to encounter.
