Licensee Spotlights: Ponyfinder on Kickstarter PLUS Bad Night in El Rey
We’ve got a couple exciting licensee announcements this week including a Kickstarter from Battlefield Press that is now in its final days as well as a new release from Dog House Rules!
Ponyfinder: the Savage Age is a game set in its own world of Everglow, where fey creatures that resemble ponies, griffons, goats, hellhounds, dragons, and other creatures have developed and grown over time. They have never lived in an idyllic world, and most of their societies reflect this. Their past, current, and future are bathed in conflict, but, unlike standard worlds, we never get lost in that darkness, and it’s never grim for the sake of it. Everything has a purpose.
This 7″ x 10″ hardcover book will contain new Edges, new Hindrances, new powers, and other exciting options made for the world of Everglow, all using the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition rules.
Head on over to Kickstarter now to read more about this project, check out the stretch goals, and, of course, pledge your support to help bring Ponyfinder: the Savage Age to life!
Now available from “Ace” licensee Dog House Rules (Trailer Park Shark Attack), Bad Night in El Rey is a convention-style Western with a weird twist!
“Your gang just stole a safe from the bank in a silver mining town. Your group of dangerous outlaws has a rendezvous with a safecracker in a backwater burg called El Rey, where you aim to lie low until sun-up. Somehow, things just don’t feel right. Can you trust your pards? Can you live through the night?”
This scenario uses DHR’s Fort Griffin setting, for Savage Worlds. While Bad Night in El Rey borrows from Frontier Towns: Fort Griffin Savaged, this scenario takes place in its own locale with its own backstory. If you are already using Fort Griffin as a setting, you can play El Rey as a one time lark, or adapt the adventure to your game.
Although this adventure doesn’t require Fort Griffin Savaged, it’s designed so you can use four of the 17 Fort Griffin building descriptions and maps (ready for VTT) as well as various nonplayer stats and descriptions.
See if you’ve got what it takes to make it through a Bad Night in El Rey, now available through DriveThruRPG!
