Pinnacle Announces Scooby-Doo Unleashed
We have a confession to make: Clint Black’s super-secret Scooby-Doo Unleashed game at MACE West was really the final test run for our newest setting! Now that licensing arrangements have been confirmed, we can proudly announce our new vision of the Mystery Machine Team serving as the last stand between mankind and the coming zombie apocalypse!
And this is a release for all you impatient folks out there. There’s no Kickstarter. There’s no lag time. We’re incorporating the final pieces of playtesting feedback now, and we anticipate releasing the Scooby-Doo Unleashed PDF for immediate download and the Scooby-Doo Unleashed print version for preorder on the thirty-first of the month! Join the crew and get your Scooby Snacks ready!
But wait—it gets even better! With our new licensing arrangement with the Cartoon Network, we have access to all the classic Hanna-Barbera properties. Coming releases (which probably won’t be as quick, sadly) will include
- Johnny Quest: Rippers Modern
- Necessary Evil 3: Dyno-Mutt’s Revenge
- 50 Fathoms 2: Jabberjaw’s Feeding Frenzy
- Deadlands: Quick Draw McGraw with Stone from 41 Minutes in the Future

As I’m sure many of you already suspect, I’m afraid this is only our little April Fool’s joke. There’s no Hanna-Barbera properties coming, we don’t have an agreement with Cartoon Network, and Scooby-Doo remains, I presume, leashed. But you really can sign up for weekly e-mails and news from Pinnacle, and there really is some excellent Scooby-Doo versus the zombie apocalypse art available from joke participant Jeff Zoet.
