Pinnacle Entertainment Group – 2025 in Review & What’s Next for ’26
2025 has come to an end, giving all of us here at Pinnacle time to pause and reflect on everything that happened last year and all the exciting things we have planned for you in 2026!
What We Launched and Shipped in ’25
Last year, we were happy to launch four extremely exciting projects including Deadlands: Lost Colony – Mad World, the Carrion Crown Adventure Path for Pathfinder® for Savage Worlds, Doom Guard: The Supers vs. Cthulhu Board Game and RPG Setting Book, and Deadlands® Dark Ages. Of these, Mad World is about to ship to backers while the other three are in-process and looking absolutely amazing!
Speaking of shipping, we kept our warehouse extremely busy in 2025 with backers receiving copies of Necessary Evil 3: Cosmic Crisis, the Necessary Evil (SWADE) Boxed Set, the updated Science Fiction Companion and Savage Tales of Science Fiction, Advanced Player’s Guide 2 and Bestiary 2 for Pathfinder® for Savage Worlds, and Deadlands: Carnage in the Cascades and The Abominable Northwest. Additionally, Rifts® for Savage Worlds: Europa will also soon be in the hands of our fans!
What’s Next?
2026 marks the 30th anniversary of our flagship setting, Deadlands! Way back in August of 1996, Shane Hensley, Matt Forbeck, and the OG Pinnacle crew unleashed Deadlands at Gen Con to rave reviews! Now, after nine Origins Awards and 30 years of sidewindin’ shenanigans, we’ve got some HUGE plans in-store for this year with a wagon-load of brand new products to go along with it! Get ready for an adventure featuring the world’s most legendary bloodsucker, a new boxed campaign set, our next regional sourcebook, AND… Deadlands will appear in more than just tabletop roleplaying games this year!
2026 will also see a return to the streets of Pinebox, Texas in 12 to Midnight’s East Texas University with all-new tales of monsters, co-eds, and cultists coming your way this spring.
The Doom Guard board game arrives this summer and we’ll immediately show you the first expansion for it as the King in Yellow manifests in Legacy City while Rifts® for Savage Worlds reaches the Ends of the Earth in late summer taking the setting to China, Japan, Australia, and beyond.
Autumn should see Pathfinder’s® most anticipated Adventure Path come to Savage Worlds as we present our take on the legendary Kingmaker series. Our partners at Paizo, Inc. continue to be among the best in the business and we’re anxious to bring the first AP we ever tested to our game system.
At this point, that’s all we can share for now, but there’s LOTS more in the works and we’ll reveal everything as we get closer to release!
Things That Make Us Happy
Over the last four years, our staff has been hit pretty hard by a number of personal tragedies and terrible losses. Somehow we all managed to stay focused and productive despite these unfortunate times thanks to the resilience of our team members, the support of our families and friends, and especially because of the kind and encouraging words, stories of your characters and their adventures, and the hilarious Crit Fail 🎲 tales you all share with us each and every day.
As some of you may know, our own Jodi Black is currently facing a tough battle against an insidious disease, and we’re all doing what we can to help her get through it. If you wish to help, just say “hi” to Jodi on social media now and then, tell her about your latest Crit Fail (she is “The Crit Fail Queen” after all), and share a little joy. Maybe check out her and her husband Clint’s personal setting Fey in L.A. Jodi’s family has her back first, while her second “family” here at Pinnacle–including its wonderful community–has it next.
Aaron Acevedo, our long-time friend and Art Director, is now back with his company, Sigil Entertainment, and is also battling a serious illness as well, so if you get the chance, be sure to let him know how much you love the art and look of our games. Check out his work and those of the many excellent companies he works with and say “hello” to his little brother Ben who has been such an amazing help to Aaron and all his many clients… including PEG!
Thank you friends! We thrive when you are all happy and we do everything in our power to make sure we’re worth all the support you’ve given us since we first launched way back in 1992!
