Our friend John “Night Train” Goff shared some memories from his days as a writer for Pinnacle Entertainment Group—way back when we were still creating the bones of what has become Deadlands Classic and Deadlands Reloaded. In this piece he tells why he fell in love with Deadlands and the story behind the epic TPK adventure which gave him this semi-famous moniker.

The Tombstone Epitaph has long been the source of general information—and some misinformation—over the 20 years of Deadlands history. There’s been at least a couple pages of The Epitaph in most every book printed for the setting, Classic or Reloaded.

In that feature, Players and Marshals alike can learn about the most populated sections of the Weird West, who the major players are in the Great Rail Wars, or the going rate for “Drunk” or “Disorderly” fines ($10).  It also gives you a sneak peek at the art, some of which you may remember from the old black and white versions. Each piece has been lovingly re-colored by top artists. Download it now and see for yourself!
