There are two versions of each character: Novice and Seasoned. Switch between the two versions using the layers feature in the PDF. El-Amin's Associate is an Extra to go with the Scholar at Seasoned level; there's only one version of that character.
These characters are a great way to get started with Rippers Resurrected as sample or pregenerated characters.
