Share Your Work Through the Savage Worlds Adventurer’s Guild (SWAG)
If you have an idea for a new Savage Worlds product, the Savage Worlds Adventurer’s Guild (or “SWAG” for short) is the best and easiest way to get that material into the hands of the Savage Worlds fan community.
Some key changes in the Savage Worlds Adventurer’s Guild that distinguish it from other “community content” programs include:
- Creators retain the rights to their published products. Savage Worlds has never been an “open” license, and Pinnacle does not want to assume ownership for the creativity and hard work of contributing members of the SWAG community. Most other guilds retain ownership of published material.
- Creators keep 60% of the gross sales (between OBS’ hosting royalty and PEG‘s 10%). Most other guild programs split proceeds 50%.
- Creators have access to create homebrew content for Savage Worlds rules, but not any settings like Deadlands, Rifts® for Savage Worlds, The Goon™, Flash Gordon™, etc. Most other guilds allow new material for some of their settings.
If you’re new to desktop publishing, we offer FREE standardized layout templates for use with Microsoft Word and InDesign.
Plus, should you need any artwork, download our FREE set of SWAG Art Monsters that contains PSD and PNG files of a variety of beasties ranging from alligators to zombies, all for use in your SWAG products.
Finally, the Savage Worlds “Fan” license continues for unapproved FREE fanmade products. Find out more about that program here.
