Shifting Roles Inside Pinnacle Entertainment Group
2025 has started off with a few very exciting internal role adjustments here at Pinnacle Entertainment Group!
- First up, after a decade as COO, Jodi Black has transitioned to Lead Editor.
- Second, Simon Lucas will be taking on the lion’s share of Jodi’s former responsibilities, with Chris Landauer and Darrell Hayhurst picking up additional chunks of the puzzle.
- Third, Shane Hensley is putting on the CEO hat ensuring he has more time to focus on writing and handling “big picture” stuff for PEG.
From Jodi: “I really am SO EXCITED Y’ALL to be getting up to my elbows in Pinnacle’s releases now. I’m *good* at handling the boring-detail-management-stuff, but this has been a more satisfying change for my mental health.
“I don’t need flowering comments of praise or nothin… the real proof will come if you can’t tell any real difference in what I’ve done to a book. Good editing to me means the book reads well with nothing to slow down your excitement of it. So if you’re *more* excited about Pinnacle products a year from now I will be quite satisfied!
