Created by Jan Jetmar and James Abendroth, the Case of the Birthday Deathday is the latest full-length adventure in the City Guard Chronicles for Savage Worlds where the heroes investigate crimes and protect the citizens as fantasy cops in a pseudo-medieval city.
“One dead body in a locked room. Seven suspects celebrating the merchant’s birthday. The guards investigate the murder of Rolf Van Derkline, an infamous and ruthless merchant and patriarch of the family.”
The adventure highlights the most important clues and offers next steps at the end of each scene with hyperlinks. It also includes a list of non-player characters with short descriptions and an overview/flowchart (again with hyperlinks).
Eight fully fleshed-out Seasoned archetypes await you – The Accountant, The Captain, The Detective, The Lookout, The Oldtimer, The Rescuer, and The Scientist. All of them have appeared in previous cases.
