The generation ship Hymns Like Honey is near the end of its pilgrimage from the long-dead planet Home. After millennia of eerie silence punctuated by two vicious civil wars, the planet Hamish is now only seven years away.

Last night, an object evaded the defense orbits and embedded in the ship’s hull. The Hymns is under invasion by the alien cult MONAD and their cruel deity, Hamadryad Actual.

Soon, that will be the least of our worries.
