On June 29th and 30th, a posse of gunslingers came together for Europe’s 2019 Doomtown Marshal event!

Alongside a weekend packed with Doomtown games, the winner enjoyed the opportunity to select the next location to be featured in the Doomtown card game.

Mark Yellowlees proved triumphant, going unbeaten throughout the whole day and deposing his cousin, Euro 2017 Marshal winner Robert Campbell, in the final. From a list pre-selected by Doomtown’s hard-working story team, Mark chose Deadwood as the game’s next destination. With the broad prize support of alternate art cards provided by Pinnacle and Pine Box Entertainment, everyone had something exciting to show for the weekend.

As with many Doomtown events the emphasis was on fun and community rather than competition. Saturday featured a fun alternate format event where players got the chance to buy and use the new Out for Blood expansion in a casual bar atmosphere.

Sunday saw international guests arrive from France, showcasing their distinctive local play style and deck building. Fund raising continued for Miles Hayton, a late Doomtown player from the London scene, with a fellow London player giving out copies of a tribute card for Miles from the latest expansion and his fellow participants responding with generous donations to Papyrus, a charity for the prevention of young suicide.

A fantastic time was had by all!
